FANTASTIC MR FOX'S MAP PRESENTATIONS

These are Fantastic Mr. Fox's presentations.

We have been working on the farmer's warehouses descriptions and we have invented a tunnel map. The story is about a fox who is starving and wants to find food, he decides to make some tunnels under the ground in order to arrive at the farmers' warehouses and steal the food from there. We have also worked on adjectives to describe the warehouses, synonyms of verbs to give directions, connectors, even traps and riddles.

AN ARCHEOLOGIST VISITS US

The archeologist Elena Sintes visited us last monday to tell us very interesting information about the bones.

First, we checked on the skeleton bones.
Then, we put all the bones together.
Finally, she showed us a power point with lots of information about bones,what are they made of, why do women have a bigger pelvis than men,...

It was great! We learnt lots of things!!

3B HALLOWEEN WORKSHOP!!

This year we have prepared a Halloween workshop with lots of activities outside!!

There were the three legged race, the witches' hats, the can bowling, the Halloween graffiti,... IT WAS GREAT!!

OUR AUTUMN TREE

Autumn has arrived and we have painted some leaves to decorate our tree! 
P3 coloured the tree, P4 and P5 coloured the leaves!

WE ARE WORKING ON THE DIGESTIVE SYSTEM!

We have started the topic digestive system in Science. The first activity we have done is to draw the outline of a body and try to locate the organs involved in the digestive process. We used encyclopaedias for that reason and our best drawing techniques...It was fun to work in collaborative groups and learn from others at the same time.

FUNNYBONES RETELLING THE BEGINNING OF THE STORY

In English this week we have been working on retelling the beginning of the story "Funnybones".

We have worked on the vocabulary and we have also done a little presentation in groups. We hope you like it!!

We are working on the body- bones- in year 3

This term year 3 is working on the body, the bones, joints and muscles. First, we started with the body parts. This activity shows us how many things we know about our body parts. Labelling Guille's and Arantxa's bodies with names was really funny.

 Then, two boys from year 6x, Teo and LLuc, came to show us a skeleton, with all the bones!! It was great to be taught by year 6!! We were all very interested in what they told us!
